Lady A reimagined one of their biggest singles when they took the stage at the 2024 iHeartCountry Festival Presented by Capital One on Saturday night (May 4). The star-studded event returned to Moody Center in Austin, Texas.
The trio — made up of Hillary Scott, Charles Kelley and Dave Haywood — delivered a stunning new spin on their Grammy Award-winning ballad “Need You Now,” the title track of the band’s 2009 album. Lady A got the whole arena crowd singing along to “Need You Now,” marking a powerful moment before the group returned to the stage for an encore. Lady A kicked off their iHeartCountry Festival set with the 2014 anthem “Bartender,” followed by several career-spanning hits: “We Owned The Night,” “American Honey,” “Love You Back” and “You Look Good,” followed by a new version of “Need You Now” and returning to the Moody Center stage to perform “What If I Never Get Over You.”
Other artists in the lineup throughout the evening included Jason Aldean, Jelly Roll, Ashley McBryde, Riley Green, Old Dominion (with surprise special guest Ashley Cooke), Brothers Osborne, Walker Hayes and Keith Urban. It was all hosted again by iHeartRadio’s Bobby Bones. See some of the highlights from Lady A’s performance here:
