Kelsea Ballerini seemingly hinted at the possibility of an acting career in her future when she fielded a few questions from Instagram users on story on Monday (April 1).
One fan wanted to know: “Have you ever thought of acting? I feel like you would kill it!”
“Ya know, I’m definitely in the ‘run towards things that scare you’ chapter of my life,” Ballerini wrote in her response. “So, not no.” She added an emoji in the bottom right corner of the slide, appearing to cover the text printed on a sheet of paper.
Ballerini also responded to questions about her upcoming 2024 CMT Music Awards performance, seemingly teased a New York City show on the horizon, deemed her “second home” Charleston, South Carolina (where Outer Banks, the show starring actor and Ballerini’s boyfriend Chase Stokes, is filmed), shared a description of her forthcoming album (it’s “very…good girl with a little rage”), revealed the meaning behind each of her tattoos and more.
The Subject To Change star is returning to solo host the 2024 CMT Music Awards, set for Sunday (April 7). Ballerini is also one of the performers in the star-studded lineup, and one of the most-nominated artists. She was recently revealed among the Top 6 finalists for Video of the Year, the most coveted award of the night. The Top 3 finalists will be announced the morning of the show, and voting will continue through the live show at vote.cmt.com. Finalists also include Ashley McBryde, Cody Johnson, HARDY, Jelly Roll and Lainey Wilson.
