Tim McGraw reminisced on heartwarming moments with his wife, fellow country music megastar Faith Hill, in the music video he premiered on Friday morning (March 15). McGraw’s “One Bad Habit” shared glimpses of the couple’s decades-long romance dating back to the 90s and spanning to today.
McGraw released “One Bad Habit” on Poet’s Resumé, a 6-track EP that made its surprise debut in November 2023, months after McGraw released his latest full-length album, Standing Room Only. In “One Bad Habit,” McGraw declares himself “the one bad habit I hope (Hill) never breaks”: “'Cause I'm her wild side/ The one crazy thing she does/ I hope she never quits me/ I hope she never gives me up/ Well, I'm a mile away from perfect/ If there's a curse word, man, I've cursed it/ I’m the only hell she's еver gonna raise/ The onе bad habit I hope she never breaks.”
Leading up to the music video premiere, McGraw shared his reactions to some of the photos of him with Hill, and explained the stories behind them. One photo was taken at the 33rd annual Country Music Association Awards, hosted in 1999 at the legendary Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville, Tennessee. McGraw said that photo was “a Beauty and the Beast shot right there. Look how gorgeous she is.” He shared another from the millennium New Year’s Eve concert at Bridgestone Arena in Downtown Nashville, a snapshot from the couple’s Las Vegas residency and more. McGraw and Hill got married in October 1996, shortly after getting engaged. Since then, they welcomed and raised three daughters: Gracie McGraw, 26, Maggie McGraw, 25, and Audrey McGraw, 22.
McGraw is gearing up for his headlining “Standing Room Only Tour,” which also includes Carly Pearce and other artists on select dates (he posted a photo from his rehearsal with “my biggest fan” earlier this week).
