Trisha Yearwood posted a heartfelt tribute to her husband, fellow country music megastar Garth Brooks, to celebrate his birthday on Wednesday (February 7). The Oklahoma-born singer-songwriter turned 62.

Yearwood posted a black-and-white snapshot of herself with Brooks on Instagram on Wednesday evening. They appear to be seated in a venue prepping for a live show (Brooks appears to be serenading his wife into his headset mic) in the photo. Yearwood wrote in her caption: “How sweet it is to be loved by you. Happy birthday, love of my life! love, t.”

Brooks and Yearwood tied the knot in 2005. They celebrated their 18th wedding anniversary in December. Months earlier, the beloved country stars shared their secret to a happy marriage as Good Morning America anchor Robin Roberts looked ahead to her wedding. Brooks and Yearwood hilariously shared their advice, including when Brooks said, “one of you has to be f***ing miserable,” and Yearwood responded, “That's right — and I am not happy!” Brooks added, “never go to bed mad at each other,” to which his wife replied, “what, did you Google that?” The husband-and-wife duo laughed as they said they had “no idea,” why they were “asking us,” for relationship guidance. They ended up, however, offering a heartfelt word of advice: “Marry your best friend.” They’ve also shared emotional sentiments to one another, including Brooks’ November interview on The Kelly Clarkson Show, telling host Kelly Clarkson of Yearwood: “I’ve said this before, I found her in the past life (and) I’ll find her in the next.”

Happy birthday, Garth Brooks!
