Thomas Rhett and Lauren Akins have a new workout buddy: their youngest daughter, Lillie Carolina.
Akins posted an adorable photo of the trio in the gym together on Instagram on Wednesday (January 31). Akins appeared to be in a plank on a mat with Lillie Carolina, who turned 2 in November, mimicking her mother. Rhett is captured in the background watching his daughter. Akins wrote in her caption: “Bring your baby to the gym day 💕”
Rhett and Akins are also parents to Willa Gray (8), Ada James (6) and Lennon Love (3). The “Where We Started” artist previously shared that as a parent, he aims to cherish “the good ole days.
“Sometimes it’s easy to wish they were a little bit older so they would feel a little bit easier but I don’t wanna do that anymore. These are the moments we will remember for a lifetime,” he said. “In the words of [Lauren Akins] ‘these are the magic moments’ so here’s to embracing the tired, the crying, the arguing, the taking 60 pictures just to make sure everyone is smiling in at least one, the caffeine, the Epcot beer, the laughter, the smiles, the joy, the magic. Here’s to parenthood🤘”
Rhett and Akins celebrated their 11th wedding anniversary in October 2023. The longtime sweethearts met in their childhood, and now, the award-winning country star said he “can still remember what she looked like in first grade. I still remember how much taller than me she was at church camp in 6th grade. I still remember picking her up on our first date at 16. I still remember how fast my heart was beating when she walked down the aisle. Basically I remember it all so vividly. I can’t believe how much life we have gotten to share together. [Lauren Akins] you have been and always will be my best friend. I thank God for you every single day. I love you so much. Thank you for loving me and everyone you know so well.”
