Kane Brown and his wife, Katelyn Brown, shared a video capturing the sweet moment the family learned whether Baby No. 3 is a boy or a girl. The “Thank God” artists posted the gender reveal on Instagram on Tuesday evening (January 9).
The video opens with Katelyn asking her husband what he thinks they’re having, and Kane predicted another girl. The Browns are parents to Kingsley Rose, who turned 4 in October, and Kodi Jane, who turned 2 on December 30.
“We have a surprise,” Katelyn told Kingsley Rose in the gender reveal video. “We know if the baby in mommy’s tummy is a boy or a girl. Do you wanna find out?”
Katelyn points out a cake — decorated in white icing with bees and flowers on top, reading “what will baby bee?” — and explains to Kingsley that it’s either pink or blue on the inside. Kane and Katelyn counted down from three and dug into the cake with tall, stemmed glasses at the same time.

The Browns embraced and celebrated Baby No. 3, the first baby boy in the family. The video quickly drew heartfelt comments from Jason Aldean, RaeLynn, Chris Lane’s wife Lauren Bushnell Lane, Russell Dickerson’s wife Kailey Dickerson, and many others.
Kane and Katelyn announced on Christmas Day that they were expecting another child. They posted a heartwarming photo with their two daughters, and Kingsley held the sonogram images as Kane confirmed in the caption it would be their last Christmas as a family of four.
Last week, Katelyn teased the gender reveal on her Instagram story. She shared a selfie and wanted to know, “should we tell y’all what we’re having?”
