Gary LeVox reminisced on a moment he shared on stage with a special guest at the legendary Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, Tennessee. The Rascal Flatts singer-songwriter joined forces with reigning CMA Awards New Artist of the Year Jelly Roll to perform one of the trio’s biggest hits of the early 2000s, “Fast Cars And Freedom.”
“Doesn’t get better than seeing my friend [Jelly Roll] & being at the [Grand Ol Opry] 🙌🏻 why do I feel like we should do somethin togehta…. What ya think???” LeVox wrote in his caption when he posted a throwback video on Instagram on Wednesday evening (January 3).
Rascal Flatts — which also included bandmates Jay DeMarcus and Joe Don Rooney — released “Fast Cars And Freedom” on Feels Like Today, the group’s 12-track album that also included “Bless The Broken Road,” and other fan-favorites throughout the track list. Some of the songs appearing on Feels Like Today remain among Rascal Flatts’ biggest hits of the band's career, along with “Life Is A Highway,” “What Hurts The Most,” “These Days,” “My Wish,” “Mayberry,” “Prayin' For Daylight,” and many others.
