Dierks Bentley shared a sweet tribute to his daughter, Jordan Bentley, to celebrate her 13th birthday. Bentley posted several photos and videos of memories with Jordan over the years as ehe shared a sweet message to her on Tuesday (December 26).
“You are now and have always been a force of nature. We love you and your fierce loving creative kind spirit,” the country star wrote in his caption on Instagram, and noted the inspiration behind his daughter’s name. “Your name came from my best friend, Jordan Sterling, who passed away in 2009 from cystic fibrosis/lung transplant complications. I know he is looking down and loving watching you take on life with the zest that you do. ❤️”
Jordan, the Gravel & Gold artist's middle child (joining sister Evie and brother Knox), was born on Christmas Day. Bentley previously explained that because Jordan’s birthday falls on Christmas, “we try to give her an extra present or two. It’s kind of tough to share your birthday with Jesus. You can get a little overshadowed on that one, but she’s good about it, but we just tell her, ‘All these Christmas trees and lights, these are all for you.’”
