Lainey Wilson joins forces with Miranda Lambert to reveal a country anthem they co-wrote for the first time on a Las Vegas stage. The two award-winning singer-songwriters were in town for their respective shows when they debuted “Good Horses” together.
Wilson posted a video of that moment on Instagram, donning her signature bell bottoms and cowgirl hat as Lambert applauded her for “kicking a** tonight.” Wilson and her “sister,” Lambert, teamed up with Luke Dick to write “Good Horses.” The Bell Bottom Country hitmaker said it was a “special” opportunity to perform it for the first time during the third night of her Wildflowers and Wild Horses shows, named in honor of her latest single from her award-winning sophomore album.
“There were a lot of highs this past week in Vegas and this is definitely one of them,” Wilson said. “We wrote ‘Good Horses’ with [Luke Dick] and when my sister [Miranda Lambert] agreed to join me for the third night of my Wildflowers and Wild Horses shows, I knew we had to add it to the setlist.🐴 It was special gettin’ to perform it for the first time for a crowd of horse lovin’, rodeo-in’, country lovin’ people like us.”
Lambert has been in Las Vegas for the latest round of shows in her residency, Velvet Rodeo. The powerhouse singer-songwriter recently announced her final show dates in 2024. Watch Lambert join Wilson on stage to perform “Good Horses” for the first time here:
