Jon Pardi couldn’t help but laugh as he envisioned his daughter’s first Christmas this year.

Pardi and his wife, Summer, welcomed Baby No. 1 earlier this year. Daughter Presley Fawn Pardi made her arrival at 5:05 a.m. on February 18, 2023, at 7 lbs and 12oz, and 20.25 inches. Pardi joked at that time: “Our Baby girl is here and ready to Pardi haha DAD joke!” Pardi was one of more than a dozen country stars to welcome a baby in 2023, including other first-time parents.

“My daughter will not know what the hell’s going on,” Pardi recently joked, per his record label, with Presley’s first Christmas approaching. “She’s gonna love the lights. She’s gonna try to eat everything, but it’ll be very magical for me and Summer. I think I’m most excited to pick out what she’s wearing, spending a little time, make her laugh, love making her laugh, and I think she’ll just, she’ll slowly learn to love Christmas, and I’m glad that I have an album now I can play it for her. So, I have full control of what Christmas music we’re listening to, ‘cause it’s my album. We’re just gonna listen to that, ‘cause it’s great!”

Pardi recently released his first-ever holiday album, Merry Christmas From Jon Pardi, featuring “Beer For Santa,” “All I Want For Christmas is You,” “Please Come Home for Christmas,” “400 Horsepower Sleigh” and other highlights on the 12-track project. He’s also set to appear on the CMA Country Christmas special, airing Thursday evening (December 14) at 8 p.m. ET on ABC (available to stream the next day on Hulu and Disney+).
