Morgan Wallen, Luke Combs and Jason Aldean are among the Top Country Artists of 2023.

Nearing the end of the year, iHeartRadio revealed the lists of most played artists, songs and podcasts of 2023. iHeartRewind breaks down which artists and songs were most popular among listeners, tallied by total audience spins (TAS) and streams across nationwide iHeartRadio stations and the iHeartRadio app. iHeartRewind also breaks down findings by genre, by generation and by season (iHeartRadio users should also keep an eye out for their personalized iHeartRewind for 2023).

Some country stars appear in the genre-blending list of Top Overall Artists of 2023, which crows Taylor Swift No. 1 with more than 2.8 billion TAS. Wallen ranks No. 3 on that list (2.1+ billion), followed by Combs at No. 6 (1.85+ billion). Others appearing on the Top Overall Artists of 2023 list include Miley Cyrus, Ed Sheeran and Post Malone. Wallen’s “Last Night” also appears on the list of Top Overall Songs of 2023, ranking No. 7 on that list.

  5. “Thank God,” by Kane Brown and Katelyn Brown

The Top Country Song in Winter was Wallen’s “Thought You Should Know, while the Top Country Artist in winter was Combs. In Spring, the Top Country Song was Hubbard’s “Dancin’ In The Country,” and the Top Country Artist that season was Wallen. The Top Country Song of the Summer was “Need A Favor,” by Jelly Roll, and the Top Country Artist of the Summer was Combs.
