Sara Evans shared a tribute to her newly-engaged daughter, Olivia Evans, on Instagram on Wednesday evening (November 29). The “Born To Fly” icon and recently-inducted Grand Ole Opry member gushed that she’s “beyond grateful to God” for her daughter’s engagement, and embraced her future son-in-law as a son already.
Olivia announced her engagement to model Blake Irwin on Instagram earlier this month. She simply captioned the sweet photo, “Future Mr. and Mrs. Irwin 🤍,” and Sara shared the news on her own Instagram story with three red heart emojis as she exclaimed, “we are so happy!”
“My middle child Olivia got engaged!” Sara wrote in her Instagram caption on Wednesday evening. “I am beyond grateful to God for this and we LOVE Blake already as our son! We were so blessed to have been together with his family when he popped the question! May The Lord bless them and keep them all the days of their lives!”
Olivia also shared engagement photos — including snapshots of the stunning ring — with her fiancé after she first made the announcement on November 21. Irwin shared a few photos of his own, writing “Something like Olivia 🤍.” See the engagement photos below.
