Carly Pearce debuted her stunning, holiday-inspired look shortly before taking the stage during the 2023 Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony on Wednesday night (November 29) at Rockefeller Center in New York City. The award-winning country songstress was “Holly & Jolly & Bright,” she wrote in her Instagram caption, wearing shimmering eyeshadow and black winged eyeliner paired with a bold red lip.

Country music icon Trisha Yearwood, who inducted Grammy Award-winning Pearce into the Grand Ole Opry in 2021, introduced her to the Rockefeller Center stage via a pre-recorded message in Nashville, Tennessee. Pearce delivered a festive rendition of “The Man with the Bag,” donning a long white coat with a matching hat and gloves.

Kelly Clarkson hosted the 2023 Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony, which marked its 91st celebration on Wednesday evening. She also kicked off the cherished tradition with “Underneath the Tree,” from her 2013 holiday album, Wrapped in Red. The event, featuring a genre-spanning lineup, also included festive performances by Cher, David Foster, Barry Manilow, Katharine McPhee, Keke Palmer and others. TODAY Show host Hoda Kotb, who noted that Pearce is joining country music giant Tim McGraw on his headlining “Standing Room Only Tour” in 2024, hailed Pearce’s performance “Incredible” during the iconic tree lighting ceremony.
