Amy Grant and Trisha Yearwood are set to team up to host the 14th annual holiday TV special, CMA Country Christmas, the Country Music Association announced on Tuesday morning (November 14). The Association also revealed its star-studded lineup taking the stage during the festive evening.
Jordan Davis, Grant, Lady A, Ashley McBryde, Jon Pardi, Lindsey Stirling, The War And Treaty, Zach Williams, Lainey Wilson and Yearwood will deliver “one-of-a-kind musical performances of festive classics” during the CMA Country Christmas special. It was all filmed in front of a live audience in Nashville, Tennessee. Grant and Yearwood gushed that it’s “beginning to look like CMA Country Christmas,” as details about the star-studded Christmas special were announced on Tuesday.
CMA Country Christmas has previously featured performances by former host Carly Pearce (who also hosted with “Growin’ Up Raising You” star Gabby Barrett), Dan + Shay, Scotty McCreery, Old Dominion, Maren Morris, Brett Eldredge, Breland, Carrie Underwood, Pistol Annies and many others.
The one-hour CMA Country Christmas holiday special is set to make its debut on Thursday, December 14 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC. It will also be available to watch the following day on Hulu and Disney+. Watch the trailer here:
