Everyone needs a hype man in their life — just ask Jelly Roll and Craig Morgan. The pair ran into each other on the red carpet at the 57th annual CMA Awards in Nashville on Wednesday (November 8) and the interaction is just the wholesome moment we love to see.
"Man, you look incredible, goodness gracious," Jelly Roll told Morgan as the pair shared a hug, with the "Almost Home" singer saying, "Just trying to be like you."
Jelly Roll then joked that since the pair were sitting close together during the show that he was going to be "harassing" him all night and sit with him during commercial breaks, making Morgan laugh. There was nothing but love between the pair, with Morgan telling Jelly Roll, "Congratulations on everything, I'm so excited for you."
Check out the sweet moment in the video below.
Jelly Roll, who also opened the CMA Awards with an emotional performance with surprise guest Wynonna Judd, kept his hype man status going into the show, culminating in an impassioned and motivational speech while accepting his win for New Artist of the Year. The "Son of a Sinner" singer made sure to highlight the fact that he won the award as a 39-year-old artist, hoping that the award could inspired everyone to "keep going."
