Cody Johnson unleashed his latest full-length record to kick off the weekend on Friday (November 3), delivering a collection of anthems showcasing the Texas-born artist’s classic country sound with some star-studded collaborations.
Johnson’s 12-track album, Leather, is the award-winning singer-songwriter’s third full-length project, following Ain’t Nothin’ To It in 2019 and Human The Double Album in 2021. Leather includes “The Painter,” Johnson’s smash-hit, romantic single that made its debut in August, in addition to collaborations with Jelly Roll and Brooks & Dunn, among other highlights. He recently stopped by The Bobby Bones Show to talk about how he made the Jelly Roll collaboration happen, what to expect on his new album and more.
