Kane Brown blended his voice in with late music legend Elvis Presley’s for a reimagined version of holiday classic, “Blue Christmas.” Brown’s new rendition of the festive ballad with Presley is available now, the genre-blending country star posted on Instagram on Wednesday evening (November 1).
Presley recorded “Blue Christmas” in the late 1950s on Elvis’ Christmas Album. The 12-track holiday collection also included classics like “White Christmas,” “Here Comes Santa Claus (Right Down Santa Claus Lane),” “I’ll Be Home For Christmas,” “Silent Night” and others.
“I'll have a Blue Christmas without you/ I’ll be so blue just thinking about you/ Decorations of red on a green Christmas tree/ Won't be the same dear, if you're not here with me/ And when those blue snowflakes start falling/ That's when those blue memories start calling/ You'll be doin' all right, with your Christmas of white/ But I'll have a blue, blue blue blue Christmas/ …You'll be doin' all right, with your Christmas of white/ But I'll have a blue, blue blue blue Christmas”
Brown’s “Blue Christmas” with Presley comes as he readies the release of his next era. The hit-making artist most recently released “I Can Feel It,” a Phil Collins-inspired anthem that he debuted live for the first time at the 2023 iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas in September.
