Jon Pardi apologized to his fans as he announced on Wednesday (November 1) that he would have to reschedule this weekend’s shows as he and other family members — including his baby daughter Presley, who was born in February, and likely his wife Summer — recover from Covid.

Pardi shared a video on his social media channels on Wednesday afternoon, opting to “cut right to the chase” as he revealed he has Covid and would have to take time to “get healthy and rest.” The announcement comes one week after the “Mr. Saturday Night” star postponed three other concerts as he worked to overcome strep throat. Those events will now take place on February 15, 2024 in Abbotsford, British Columbia, Canada; on February 16, 2024 in Everett, Washington; and on February 17, 2024 in Eugene, Oregon.

“I have to reschedule this weekend, also. I now have Covid. Presley has Covid, Summer’s probably got Covid. It’s been going around my family, and band and crew,” Pardi said in his announcement on Wednesday. “So, the best thing to do is just reschedule. We got last weekend rescheduled. …I was really looking forward to this weekend, but I gotta get healthy and rest. There’s nothing fun about this. I hate this. Sorry, once again. Hope everybody’s safe out there.”

Pardi said this weekend rescheduled dates in Montana and Idaho will be announced soon. Concertgoers are encouraged to hold onto their tickets, per Pardi’s announcement.

“I thought it was allergies, and such, but the doctor says it’s strep throat, and I don’t feel well and I wanna be 100% for you guys,” Pardi said when he postponed three shows last week. “I can’t do that this weekend. I have to rest. So, I apologize from the bottom of my heart. I hate it. …I’m very sorry. I wanted to get the word out, so you guys can rearrange plans and you’re not stranded at the last minute. Love you. Thank you so much, and hold the tickets and we’ll keep you posted. Thank you, and sorry.”

Pardi is currently on his headlining “Mr. Saturday Night” Tour, which also includes MidlandJackson DeanRandall KingElla Langleyand DJ Highmax on select dates.
