Cody Johnson added more than a dozen new dates to his highly-anticipated headlining tour, slated to kick off in January. The CMA Awards Male Vocalist of the Year nominee previously announced his headlining “The Leather Tour” last month. The nationwide trek also features Justin Moore, Chris Janson and Dillon Carmichael.
Johnson’s tour is named after his next full-length album, Leather, which is set to release on November 3. Most recently, he released “That’s Texas,” Work Boots and More from Leather and “The Painter,” the heartwarming single written by Benjy Davis, Kat Higgins and Ryan Larkins and produced by Trent Willmon. Johnson paid tribute to his wife, Brandi, after 15 years together.
“I hope my fans are encouraged to take the time to appreciate the people they have around them,” Johnson said at that time. “The ones who make their life beautiful and bring all the beautiful colors to their world when it could just be black and white and dark. Remember them and tell them you love them.”
