Newlyweds Billy Ray Cyrus and FIREROSE shared the first few photos from their wedding day in an Instagram post on Wednesday (October 11). The couple tied the knot in a “perfect, ethereal celebration of love” on Tuesday (October 10), they revealed.
Cyrus, 62, and FIREROSE, 34, shared in their caption that “10/10/23 will always be the beautiful, joyous day that our two souls united as one in holy matrimony. It was the most perfect, ethereal celebration of love we could have ever imagined.
“For both of us to hear the preacher say, ‘Billy Ray and Firerose Cyrus… I now pronounce you husband and wife’ that was the sacred moment our new forever began,” the newlyweds continued. “Long Live Love! ❤️♾️”
Cyrus confirmed in November 2022 that he was engaged to “soulmate” FIREROSE, after the pair sparked rumors because eagle-eyed social media users spotted FIREROSE wearing what appeared to be an engagement ring. The “Achy Breaky Heart” star and his then-fiancée confirmed their engagement to PEOPLE at the time, and Cyrus credited his late German Shepherd with introducing them about a dozen years earlier. Cyrus was walking his dog, Tex, on the set of Hannah Montana, the Disney channel series he starred in with his now 30-year-old daughter Miley Cyrus, when he met FIREROSE. They later shared more engagement details, including about the 18k white gold engagement ring with diamond accents around the centerpiece stone.
Cyrus and FIREROSE recently made an appearance together at the historic Ryman Auditorium in Downtown Nashville, Tennessee. They arrived at the pre-recorded 16th annual ACM Honors in August, performing a tribute with Travis Denning during the show that aired last month. See the couple’s first wedding photos here:
