Jon Pardi shared a hilarious behind-the-scenes clip from the recording studio, capturing fellow country hitmaker Luke Bryan dancing into the room and laughing after the pair embrace in a friendly hug. Pardi captioned the brief clip when he shared it on Instagram on Tuesday (October 10): “A cowboy & a plowboy go into the studio together…”
Though it wasn’t immediately clear whether Pardi and Bryan will release new music together (some fans deemed them “the duo we never knew we needed,” and hoped for a collaboration someday), Pardi did recently reveal that he’s getting into the holiday spirit early. The soon-to-be-inducted Grand Ole Opry member announced that his holiday album, Merry Christmas From Jon Pardi, will make its debut on October 27. He also said that he’s “having a big ole Christmas party at the Beacon Theatre in NYC on December 16!”
Pardi’s Christmas album will follow his latest full-length project, Mr. Saturday Night, which released in September 2022. The 14-track album included fan-favorites like the title track, “Last Night Lonely,” “Your Heart Or Mine,” “Longneck Way To Go” with Midland and other highlights. Pardi recently kicked off his “Mr. Saturday Night Tour,” which includes Midland, Jackson Dean, Randall King, Ella Langley, and DJ Highmax on select dates. See Pardi’s video with Bryan here:
