Carly Pearce wore the perfect Barbie-worthy look as she walked the red carpet at the 2023 Canadian Country Music Association Awards over the weekend. The “What He Didn’t Do” star made her CCMA Awards debut, arriving in a bright pink dress with feathers ruffled along the bottom of the skirt and matching heels.
Pearce posed on the red carpet in a 9-second clip she shared on TikTok, set to “Barbie World,” by Nicki Minaj and Ice Spice with Aqua, released earlier this year on the star-studded Barbie movie soundtrack. The highly-anticipated, Greta Gerwig-directed film starring Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling premiered over the summer and prompted tons of Barbie-inspired fashion moments (fellow country star Kelsea Ballerini wore a flattering pink dress on the movie’s opening weekend, and planned to “ride this barbie wave as long as possible”).
Pearce said she was “honored” to present and perform at the CCMA Awards at FirstOntario Center in Hamilton, Ontario. The award-winning singer-songwriter changed into a stunning shimmering gown as she took the stage on Saturday evening (September 16).
