Maddie Font shared a glimpse of “how I’m surviving these last weeks of pregnancy” — and hoping to induce labor naturally — as she gets ready to welcome her firstborn child. The Maddie & Tae star posted her “survival guide for the home stretch of pregnancy” on TikTok on Tuesday (September 5).
Font, 28, went on to share how she makes red raspberry leaf tea, uses electrolyte packs for swollen and achey hands, how she avoids or combats heartburn, goes for chiropractic care, bounces on a yoga ball, goes for daily walks and other “survival guide” tips at the end of her pregnancy.
“We are mostly prepped. Pregnancy has been good. It has been hot, so that’s kind of difficult with a big belly. I haven’t had any weird cravings, but I have been indulging. I’m in my third trimester, so I really only get to eat like crap for the next 12 weeks,” Font previously said, per her record label, with a laugh. “So, I’m just kind of going ham on the regular Oreos, ice cream, sno cones, ahh, all the good things.”
Font and her husband, Jonah Font, announced earlier this year that Baby No. 1 is on the way. They said in a sweet announcement at the time that their son would make his arrival in September. The parents-to-be met in high school and got engaged in 2018. They got married the following year in Arrington, Tennessee. It wasn't immediately clear when the Maddie & Tae artist's baby boy would arrive, though she confirmed on her Instagram story on Friday (September 1) that she's “officially on baby watch.” Font said “irregular contractions have begun, (so it) could be tomorrow or weeks from now.”
