Dan + Shay stirred anticipation for new tour dates as they seemingly teased an announcement on Instagram on Sunday evening (August 27). The beloved country duo — made up of Dan Smyers and Shay Mooney — predicted that their latest anthem, their unconventional wedding song “We Should Get Married,” is “gonna go wild on tour.”

Smyers wrote in the comments that he’s “thinking we should announce a tour soon,” and Mooney agreed, writing, “I’d like to attend a tour.” Dan + Shay haven’t revealed new tour details as of publication time on Monday (August 28), though many Instagram users appeared eager for the announcement.

Dan + Shay released “We Should Get Married” on Friday (August 25), going “rogue” to prove that they aren’t just the “ballad guys” or the “first dance guys.” Instead, they unleashed a high-energy, Las Vegas-worthy anthem that’s perfect for getting wedding guests on the dance floor.

“We Should Get Married” is the latest release as Dan + Shay get ready for the next era of their music. The duo will release their next full-length album, Bigger Houses, next month, marking the first project that Smyers and Mooney will debut after revealing they’d considered quitting music. They’ve also released the title track, “Heartbreak On The Map” and “Always Gonna Be” from the album, due on September 15.
