Billy Ray Cyrus and fiancée FIREROSE made a public appearance as they arrived at the historic Ryman Auditorium together in Downtown Nashville, Tennessee, where they took the stage together at the 16th annual ACM Honors on Wednesday evening (August 23). Cyrus arrived tho the venue in a casual look, donning a denim jacket and cowboy hat with his long hair tousled and braided, and FIREROSE arrived in a shimmering jacket over an all-black look with a matching cowboy hat and boots.
The engaged couple joined forces with Travis Denning on stage, one of many performances to take place throughout the star-studded show, hosted by Carly Pearce for the third consecutive year. Other artists to perform throughout the night included Breland, Chris Janson, Carly Pearce, Keith Urban, Trisha Yearwood, Bailey Zimmerman, Jordan Davis, Emily Shackelton, Lady A, The War and Treaty, Brandy Clark, Anne Wilson, Priscilla Block, Lee Brice and Sara Evans. The 16th annual ACM Honors presented special awards to honorees Clint Black, BRELAND, Kane Brown, Mary Chapin Carpenter, Charlie Cook, Charlie Daniels, Mike Dungan, Ashley Gorley, HARDY, Bill Mayne, Tim McGraw, K.T. Oslin, Chris Stapleton, and Troy Vollhoffer.
Cyrus, 61, and FIREROSE, 34, confirmed their engagement in late 2022, following speculation after posting photos with a stunning ring on Instagram. The pair met more than a decade ago on the set of Hannah Montana, starring Cyrus’ daughter Miley Cyrus. They later shared more details about the engagement, including the story behind the ring.
The 16th annual ACM Honors, hailed the “Country Music industry’s favorite night,” is set to air next month, on Monday, September 18 at 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT on FOX. Viewers can also stream the show the following day on Hulu.
