Breland, Chris Janson, Carly Pearce, Keith Urban, Trisha Yearwood and many others are set to take the stage at the 16th annual ACM Honors this month, the Academy of Country Music revealed on Thursday (August 10).
The full list of performers announced on Thursday also includes Bailey Zimmerman, Jordan Davis, Emily Shackelton, Lady A, The War and Treaty, Brandy Clark and Anne Wilson. They’ll take the stage live on Wednesday, August 23 at the historic Ryman Auditorium in Downtown Nashville, Tennessee. The Academy noted in a press release on Thursday that the full lineup that will be included in the televised show will be announced in the coming weeks.
Academy of Country Music CEO Damon Whiteside said in a statement that the show will be “filled with emotional tributes and unforgettable performances… The exceptional honorees and performers at the Academy of Country Music Honors show will provide an extraordinary night of non-stop entertainment for music fans all across the country and an undeniable highlight for our Country Music community this fall.”
Hailed the “country music industry’s favorite night,” the ACM Honors recognizes honorees for their strides in the genre. This year, honorees include Chris Stapleton, Clint Black, Kane Brown, Tim McGraw and others, the Academy previously announced. Pearce will return to host the show for the third consecutive year. The 16th annual ACM Honors is set to air next month, on Monday, September 18 at 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT on FOX. Viewers can also stream the show the following day on Hulu.
