Sam Hunt shared an adorable video of his young daughter playing outside. The father-daughter duo gushed over a tiny lizard they found outside. Hunt picked it up for his daughter to see and gently pet, and she gave the animal a sweet wave goodbye as it scurried away into the grass.
Hunt’s “Summer of Love” video, as he captioned it on Instagram on Thursday (August 3), opened with the heartwarming father-daughter moment and transitioned into high-energy moments from recent concerts, set to “Found” by Jacob Banks. The country artist’s Instagram followers wrote in the comments: “Adorable ❤️,” “Sweet baby,” “Thank you for providing the best concert for me and my daughter (her first ever) it was magical,” and more.
Hunt and his wife, Hannah Lee Fowler, welcomed daughter Lucy Louise last year. He announced that their daughter had been born “a couple of weeks ago,” when he performed on June 7, 2022 at the historic Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, Tennessee. Hunt announced during his two-night run at Resorts World Theater in Las Vegas that Baby No. 2 is on the way.
Hunt, in the midst of his “Summer On The Outskirts 2023 Tour,” has previously talked about how “drastically” his life has changed since becoming a father last year. He reflected on some “things that I maybe in the past, all of a sudden, I’m experiencing in a whole new way.”
