Did Old Dominion and “Tennessee Orange” star Megan Moroney just drop a hint?
Some fans were eager for more info after both artists posted photos on their social media channels on Thursday (August 3). Old Dominion shared a snapshot that frontman Matthew Ramsey took wearing a t-shirt that reads “Bless Your Heart” with Moroney’s name on it, referencing a lyric that appears in her song, “I’m Not Pretty.” Moroney’s selfie taken in a mirror shows that she’s wearing a long-sleeved Old Dominion shirt from the band’s “No Bad Vibes Tour.” Each photo was captioned with the date August 18 and “CBUN.”
Some Twitter users and Instagram commenters noticed an apparent connection between the two posts. One Twitter user said that she “will lose my mind if there’s an Old Dominion/Megan Moroney collab about to drop.” Another begged to “normalize CONTEXT” in her response to the teasers, and another questioned “what do u mean.”
Moroney also recently retweeted Old Dominion’s photos captioned, “we’ve got too much history,” and Old Dominion retweeted Moroney’s mirror selfie and a fan who pointed out the similarities between the photos and said, “It’s ok. Everything is totally normal.”
