Carrie Underwood shared a behind-the-scenes glimpse of her tour prep as she gears up to join rock legends Guns N’ Roses on a few of their upcoming stops. The powerhouse country star is slated to perform on the global tour during a few of the upcoming shows this month.
Underwood posted a reel on Instagram to show that she’s “getting ready for the jungle, baby!” Underwood delivered behind-the-scenes glimpses of tour rehearsals with her band, set to the rock anthem on her Denim & Rhinestones album, “Poor Everybody Else”: “She's a wrecking ball, looking for a wall to break/ Thief in the night, trying to find a heart to take/ Gasoline waitin' on a match to strike/ Man-eater with an appetite/ Lips are red, heels are high/ Dress is short, it's on skin tight/ Oh, get ready or get out of the way/ When she rolls in rockin' like a hurricane/ Better watch your man/ Better watch yourself/ ‘Cause when she walks in/ Poor everybody else, yeah/ Poor everybody else.”
Underwood announced earlier this year that she would be a special guest on the Guns N’ Roses world tour, gushing that she’s “SO ready for this!” Underwood will perform two shows in Canada — in Moncton, New Brunswick, and in Montréal, Québec — and in Nashville, Tennessee. Underwood has performed with Axl Rose and Guns N’ Roses during Stagecoach Music Festival last year, in the UK last summer and during her Los Angeles tour stop on her “Denim & Rhinestones Tour,” which also included Underwood’s epic covers of “Welcome To The Jungle” during the encore at her show.
