Carly Pearce shared drummer BC Taylor’s Instagram story to her own as the pair had a “date night” at Red Rocks Park and Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colorado. The adorable selfie comes as some of Pearce’s social media followers have wondered whether this is a budding romance.

Pearce has recently shared a few photos with Taylor (including in a post earlier this week) that caught the attention of some Instagram users, including some who wrote: “Obsessed with you and your boyfriend! I’ve been hoping this would happen. Cute couple alert!,” “so like??? soft launch orrrr?,” “You and BC🔥🔥,” and others. Still, Pearce and Taylor have not publicly confirmed or denied whether their rumored romance is official as of publication time on Wednesday (July 26).

Pearce is gearing up for the next chapter in her music. She released “We Don’t Fight Anymore” last month, a highly-anticipated, soulful heartache duet with Chris Stapleton that she wrote with frequent collaborator Shane McAnally and Pete Good. The song is “about the really painful truth that sometimes a relationship can go cold and be indifferent.”

“I’ve always wanted to write music that makes people feel something — whether that is feeling seen, less alone, happy or even uncomfortable. ‘We Don’t Fight Anymore’ felt like I was writing one of those stories that, whether or not we want to include it in our social media highlight reel, we’ve either been there or are living there right now,” Pearce previously said in a statement of the inspiration behind her latest ballad. “Having Chris Stapleton join me on this song was a dream come true and he unlocked an element to the story that I didn’t even know it needed.”
