Toby Keith couldn’t resist grabbing a mic when his rideshare driver had a karaoke machine in the backseat of his car. The country superstar chose one of his most iconic hits throughout his decades-long career, pledging to “put a boot in your a**, it’s the American way.”

Keith, 62, released “Courtesy of the Red, White and Blue (The Angry American)” on his Unleashed album in the early 2000s. The song is one of Keith’s most popular anthems throughout his career, along with “Should’ve Been A Cowboy,” “I Love This Bar” and other classics.

“'Cause we'll put a boot in your a**/ It's the American way/ Hey uncle sam put your name at the top of his list/ And the Statue of Liberty started shakin' her fist/ And the eagle will fly it's gonna be hell/ When you hear mother freedom start ringin' her bell/ And it feels like the whole wide world is raining down on you/ Brought to you courtesy of the red white and blue”

“This is what happens when my Uber has a karaoke machine…-T,” Keith wrote in his Instagram caption as he shared the video of his “Courtesy of the Red, White and Blue (The Angry American)” rendition in the Uber.

Keith, who revealed his battle with stomach cancer last year, recently shared that he hopes to begin touring again when he has enough energy and strength to perform a show. In an interview with The Oklahoman, the country star confirmed he’s still undergoing chemotherapy (his tumor has shrunk by about a third), and said: “All I gotta do is see if I can get through two or three nights of work and get a little break in this chemo, and we'll go back to work.”
