How Caroline Jones Manifested This Empowering Anthem With Zac Brown Band

Caroline Jones shared a powerful message in the full-circle anthem she debuted on Friday (July 14), featuring Zac Brown Band. Jones, a solo artist who officially became a member of the award-winning band late last year, wrote “Million Little Bandaids” with frontman Zac Brown in mind.

“Million Little Bandaids,” which Jones also co-produced, is the singer-songwriter’s latest track to release as she readies her next full-length album, aiming to release this fall. The song marks the first official collaboration between Jones and Zac Brown Band since she became a full-time member of the band, notes a press release issued Friday. Jones previously opened for Zac Brown Band and became a featured guest on tour before becoming an official (and the only female) member of the group.

“This is a very full circle moment for me, to have ZBB featured on one of my songs,” Jones said. “And this song in particular expresses a profound message about having the courage to open your heart and tell really hard and vulnerable truths, which is a journey I have been on the last few years. I actually wrote ‘Million Little Bandaids’ two years ago with Zac in mind, so this is a big time manifestation for me.”

Jones and Brown co-produced the track, which features Brown along with stunning harmonies by Clay Cook, Jimmy De Martini and John Driskell Hopkins. “Million Little Bandaids” follows Superpower, Jones’ 5-track EP that released in May, offering a glimpse of her forthcoming full-length project. The EP features the title track (which Jones describes as the “most raw,” “honest” and “self-reflective” lyrics she’s ever written), the high-energy anthem “Lawless,” Jones’ signature “sass” in “Normal Person,” the 90s country-inspired duet she previously released with Alyssa Bonagura, “Keep it Safe,” and her cover of “By Way of Sorrow,” originally released by Cry Cry Cry in the late 90s, featuring beloved artist — and one of Jones’ all-time musical heroes — Vince Gill.

Jones is currently on Zac Brown Band’s “From The Fire Tour,” running simultaneously with her headlining tour dates and festivals. She’s also working on her upcoming album and expecting a child. See Jones’ upcoming tour dates below, and listen to “Million Little Bandaids” here:
