Maddie Font shared the most adorable photos with her best friend and duo partner’s daughter, Leighton Grace, as she gets ready to welcome a child of her own. Font, one half of Maddie & Tae with Taylor Kerr, beamed a heartwarming smile as she held Leighton in the photos.
“If I loved this girl any more I think I’d explode 😭 I can’t wait to give Leighton Grace a forever bff in September 🥹,” Font wrote in her Instagram caption on Wednesday (July 5). Fellow country star RaeLynn was quick to comment “😍😍😍 beautiful girl.”
Font and her husband, Jonah Font, announced earlier this year that Baby No. 1 is on the way. She said in the pregnancy announcement, which included photos to show her growing baby bump: “Baby BOY Font coming this September! Jonah & I are over the moon and feel so blessed we get to be this little man’s parents.”
“In pure, best friend fashion,” Kerr was the first to know about Font’s pregnancy (even before her husband), Font revealed shortly after announcing that she’s expecting her firstborn child. Kerr gushed, “I knew it! I knew you were pregnant!”
Kerr and her husband, Josh Kerr, welcomed Leighton Grace in January 2022. Born early at 2 pounds, 5 ounces, the Kerrs announced that their daughter is “beautiful, strong and everything we have ever dreamed of.” See the sweet photos of Leighton Grace with Font here:
