Jana Kramer is expecting Baby No. 3!
The country artist, actress, author and Whine Down with Jana Kramer podcast host revealed on Thursday (June 8) that she and fiancé Allan Russell, 42, will welcome their first child together. Kramer’s pregnancy announcement comes shortly after she and Russell confirmed their engagement after a whirlwind romance.
“We’ve been keeping another secret from you guys (I promise this is the last Announcement...at least for a little while 🤣) but I’m pregnant!!!!” Kramer, 39, gushed in an Instagram caption, sharing that she “never thought” she would see a positive result on a pregnancy test again. “Beyond blessed and grateful for this baby to be a part of our story.”
“I didn't think it would ever happen again, if I'm being honest. I've been through a lot, so this has just been a really beautiful thing,” Kramer added in an interview with PEOPLE. “I'm letting it all sink in. It's everything I've wanted and more. Allan was so sweet. He wrote me this little sticky note saying, 'You deserve the happy ending.’”
Kramer added in the interview that she’d had miscarriages, so “I didn’t even know if it was possible” to get pregnant again. It was during her recent trip to L.A., when the couple walked the red carpet at the 2023 iHeartRadio Music Awards together, that Kramer took her pregnancy test and learned that she’s expecting a baby.
The baby will join big sister Jolie, 7, and big brother Jace, 4, Kramer’s children from her previous marriage to Mike Caussin. Kramer said Jolie is “so happy” to welcome another child into the growing family. She also told PEOPLE that she and Russell “make it work,” aiming to not spend more than two weeks apart, as he splits his time in the U.S. and the U.K. with his teenaged son. Kramer spoke about how she and Russell maintain a successful long-distance relationship on the iHeartRadio Music Awards red carpet earlier this year.
Kramer, who recently sold her stunning Nashville home, confirmed on her podcast in January that she is “not single,” referring to Russell at that time as “my boyfriend” without revealing his name yet. After about six months together, Kramer said the proposal was “exactly what I would’ve wanted.”
