Carrie Underwood seemed to tease something new in the works as she relived the highlights of an epic fan club event, and some of her social media followers have theories.
Underwood posted a reel on Instagram on Tuesday night (June 6), confirming that her superfans — the “Care Bears” — got an exclusive sneak peek as they attended the fan club party at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, Tennessee. Tons of “Care Bears” showed up decked in eye-popping Denim & Rhinestones-inspired looks, in honor of Underwood’s latest full-length album. The 12-track project released last year, with the title track, “Ghost Story,” “Hate My Heart,” “Pink Champagne” and others as standout anthems. Underwood took the Opry stage wearing shimmering wardrobe pieces, she shows in the reel that’s set to her latest single, “Out Of That Truck,” which she released earlier this year.
“We had an absolute blast at our Official Fan Club Party today and my Care Bears got a sneak peek at something new and exciting coming this Friday!” Underwood exclaimed in her caption on Instagram. “💖you guys and thank you so much for coming from all over!”
Some Instagram users who attended the event thanked Underwood for the unforgettable experience. Some wondered, for example, “New album? New music video? Can't wait for Friday 👏👏👏.” Some Instagram and Twitter users dropped comments about whether new music, including a possible “deluxe album,” is on the way. Some simply gushed that they wish they could've attended the fan club party at the Opry. No matter what Underwood has coming, many of her fans will eagerly await details on Friday (June 9).
