Shania Twain dished about the recycled wardrobe pieces she’s bringing with her on her ongoing “Queen of Me Tour,” after kicking off her latest era earlier this year. Known for both her iconic country-pop music and unforgettable fashion trends, Twain revealed that nothing in her tour wardrobe is new.
Twain responded to a TikTok user who wrote, “I love how fun this is and how we’re reusing, not creating new??? YES SHANIA! Always an icon.” Twain, with vibrant red hair, pointed out a few of the wardrobe pieces as she explained that every single outfit on the “Queen of Me Tour” is repurposed.
“Everything’s reimagined! Nothing is from scratch, on purpose,” Twain said on TikTok. “I was going through my wardrobe and my closets and thinking ‘okay, I’ve got way too many things that I’m never gonna wear again.’ And I just couldn’t deal with that. Like, I can’t. I don’t know what to do with them. I want them to have a second life. So, I’ve reimagined them all!”
Twain’s sixth studio album, Queen of Me, released earlier this year with the title track, “Giddy Up!,” “Waking Up Dreaming,” “Best Friend” and other fan-favorites. Twain kicked off the “Queen of Me Tour” in late April, with select dates that include Kelsea Ballerini, Lindsay Ell, Hailey Whitters, Breland, Robyn Ottolini, Priscilla Block, and Mickey Guyton.
