Cole Swindell proposed to his longtime girlfriend Courtney Little.

The reigning iHeartRadio Music Awards Country Song of the Year winner (for his smash-hit Jo Dee Messina-inspired anthem, “She Had Me At Heads Carolina”) shared heartwarming photos on Instagram as he made the joyous announcement on Monday (May 8). Swindell wrote in his caption: “Still couldn’t tell ya everything I said down on one knee.. All I know is she said ‘YES’! 💍 We’re so excited!”

In less than an hour, Swindell’s announcement garnered hundreds of congratulatory messages, including from fellow country stars Carly Pearce, Lauren Alaina, Dustin Lynch and many others, plus tons of Swindell’s fans.

“Woke up as future Mrs. Swindell 💍,” Little wrote in a heartwarming announcement of her own as she posted photos on Instagram of the proposal (and the stunning ring). ”I’ve never been so happy! I can’t believe we are ENGAGED!!!!! 🥹.”

The “I’m Gonna Let Her” artist has previously spotlighted Little in romantic music videos and social media tributes, including when he debuted “Broken,” from his recently-released deluxe album, and when he featured Little in his “Some Habits” music video (which he said on The Bobby Bones Show in 2021 was kind of their first official date). On her last birthday in August 2022, Swindell promised Little that “this is gonna be your best year yet.. it’s already been MY best one just having you in it.”
