Reba McEntire and Brooks & Dunn shared a stunning new version of their late 1990s collaboration on Thursday morning (April 27). The acoustic rendition of “If You See Him, If You See Her” marks the song’s 25th anniversary.
“If You See Him, If You See Her” initially released in 1998, on both McEntire’s If You See Him album and Brooks & Dunn’s If You See Her album. The smash-hit ballad was one of many career collaborations between the two beloved country artists, including a Las Vegas residency, per a press release issued on Thursday morning. McEntire and Brooks & Dunn teamed up with producer Dave Cobb on the stripped-down “If You See Him, If You See Her.”
The song is also one of 14 tracks that McEntire includes on her recently-announced album, Not That Fancy. The country megastar is releasing the collection hand-in-hand with her lifestyle book — backed with recipes, stories and more — that’s set to release in October. Other tracks on the Not That Fancy album include “Consider Me Gone,” “The Night The Lights Went Out In Georgia,” “Does He Love You” with Dolly Parton, “I’m A Survivor,” and, of course, “Fancy,” among others.
