Cole Swindell is paying tribute to his lucky number in the best way… The reigning iHeartRadio Music Awards Country Song of the Year winner — for his smash-hit, Jo Dee Messina- inspired single, “She Had Me At Heads Carolina” — is set to kick off a 12-stop tour in the fall.
“Y’all know 12 is my number… 12 SHOWS. 12 DIFFERENT SETS. Kicking off October 12th. Can’t wait to be out on the road with this crew!” Swindell wrote in an Instagram caption as he announced his list of performance dates on Monday (April 24). Swindell’s 12-city tour is set to include special guests Nate Smith, Conner Smith, Avery Anna and Greylan James on select dates. It’s set to kick off shortly after Swindell wraps up Thomas Rhett’s headlining “Home Team Tour 23,” which also includes Nate Smith.
Swindell announced his upcoming tour shortly before releasing his highly-anticipated deluxe album, extending his previously-released 13-track collection, Stereotype. The original project included highlights like Swindell’s ‘90s country-inspired single, “Never Say Never” with Lainey Wilson, “Down to the Bar” with HARDY, “Single Saturday Night,” “Some Habits” and more. So far, the country hitmaker has also shared “Drinkaby,” a breakup song that doubles as a party anthem, and the romantic ballad “Broken.” The deluxe version is set to release on Friday (April 28).
“My 4th studio album has done so much for us this past year,” Swindell said earlier this year. I felt we had a few more songs that deserved to be part of the project and I can’t wait for y’all to hear them.”
