Kane Brown paid tribute to one of country music’s most beloved hitmakers during a recent concert, leading the entire crowd — singing along to every word — as he covered Garth Brooks’ iconic 1990s hit, “Friends In Low Places.” The Different Man artist shared his recent rendition in a reel on Instagram on Monday evening (April 10): “A little Garth brooks 🤷🏽‍♂️🔥”

“Blame it all on my roots, I showed up in boots/ And ruined your black tie affair/ The last one to know, the last one to show/ I was the last one you thought you'd see there/ And I saw the surprise and the fear in his eyes/ When I took his glass of champagne/ And I toasted you, said, ‘Honey, we may be through/ But you'll never hear me complain’
“’Cause I've got friends in low places/ Where the whiskey drowns and the beer chases my blues away/ And I'll be OK/ Yeah, I'm not big on social graces/ Think I'll slip on down to the oasis/ Oh, I've got friends in low places”

Brown is part of the all-star iHeartCountry Festival lineup on May 13, at Moody Center in Austin, Texas. Fans across the country will able to tune in to all of the incredible live performances at this year's iHeartCountry Festival as the event will be broadcast on iHeartRadio country stations nationwide, and on iHeartRadio.com as well as the iHeartRadio app on Saturday, May 13th at 8pm ET/5pm PT.
