Maddie & Tae singer Maddie Font and her husband Jonah Font are expecting their first child!
“Baby BOY Font coming this September!” Maddie gushed in an Instagram caption on Tuesday morning (April 4), wearing an adorable blue dress and bearing her growing baby bump. Her husband smiled alongside her as the parents-to-be announced that Baby Font is due this fall. “Jonah & I are over the moon and feel so blessed we get to be this little man’s parents.”
Maddie told PEOPLE when s he made the announcement that she and Jonah found out in January that they were expecting their first baby. The Maddie & Tae artist surprised her husband “with a little card and the positive tests once he came home from work,” she told the outlet. “We are so excited to become parents!”
Baby Font will be the second Maddie & Tae baby in recent years. Maddie’s duo partner, Taylor Kerr, and her husband welcomed their daughter, Leighton Grace, in January 2022. Maddie told PEOPLE that “oddly enough,” her duo parter “had a feeling I was pregnant before I even knew!” The two women have undoubtedly celebrated one another’s pregnancy announcements, having perviously shared an adorable photo of the moment that Taylor told Maddie that she was expecting her first baby.
Maddie and Jonah met in high school and got engaged in 2018. They tied the knot in November 2019 in Arrington, Tennessee. Maddie shared a heartwarming three-year anniversary tribute to her husband: “…being your wife is my greatest honor. I love you so much and feel so blessed to get to love you forever 🤍”
