Lady A initially planned to go on the “Request Line Tour” in 2022; however, the trio opted to put the performance dates on hold in support of Kelley’s efforts to stay sober. The group previously shared a “little snippet” of the inspiration behind the “Request Line Tour,” reflecting on a live performance that included a rendition of “Let It Go” from Frozen, the popular 2013 film starring Kristen Bell and Idina Menzel, who originally sings the song. During Lady A’s show, Kelley reflected on previously performing in cover bands. He assured the audience that Haywood, who was seated at a piano, “can play anything you want, just throw something out.”
