Nate Smith, Megan Moroney, Jackson Dean and other artists who are some of country music’s hottest rising stars are slated to perform at the 2023 CMT Music Awards in the coming weeks. CMT announced additional performers on Tuesday morning (March 21).
The “Whiskey On You” hitmaker, “Tennessee Orange” songstress, and “Don’t Come Lookin’” artist will take the Ram Trucks Side Stage, along with Avery Anna, Chapel Hart and Lily Rose. The side stage aims to spotlight the genre’s biggest up-and-coming artists. CMT notes that previous hitmakers — and now main-stage performers — to take the Ram Trucks Side Stage include BRELAND, Brothers Osborne, Carly Pearce, Dan + Shay, Jimmie Allen, Kelsea Ballerini, Maren Morris, Mickey Guyton, Parker McCollum and Thomas Rhett, to name a few.
Previously-announced performers include Blake Shelton, Carly Pearce, Cody Johnson, Keith Urban, Kelsea Ballerini, Lainey Wilson, Carrie Underwood, Kane Brown and his wife, Katelyn Brown, and others. Brown and Ballerini are set to co-host the highly-anticipated show.
