Willie Nelson Reveals Largest-Ever Tour Lineup To Celebrate 90th Birthday

Willie Nelson is slated to go on the road again as he kicks off his star-studded “Outlaw Music Festival Tour” this summer. The country legend announced the upcoming tour dates and lineups on Tuesday morning (March 14).

Nelson announced the first 16 shows of the largest-ever 'Outlaw' tour — with additional shows to be announced, per a press release issued Tuesday morning — which continues after the iconic artist celebrates his milestone 90th birthday. The lineup includes: Willie Nelson & FamilyRobert Plant & Alison KraussThe Avett BrothersJohn FogertyNathaniel Rateliff & The Night SweatsWhiskey MyersGov’t MuleMarcus KingMargo PriceTrampled By TurtlesMolly Tuttle & Golden HighwayKathleen EdwardsFlatland CavalryKurt Vile And The ViolatorsBrittney Spencer, and Particle Kid.

“I can’t wait to be on the road with the amazing group of artists joining us on this year’s Outlaw Music Festival Tour,” Nelson said in a statement. “It is always a great day of music and fun with family, friends and the incredible fans, and even more special this year in celebration of my 90th birthday.”

Nelson’s first-ever.”Outlaw Music Festival” kicked off in 2016, debuting in Scranton, Pennsylvania. Artists who have been part of the tour over the years include Robert Plant, Neil Young, Bob Dylan, Van Morrison, ZZ Top, Eric Church, Bonnie Raitt, Luke Combs, Chris Stapleton, Sheryl Crow, Sturgill Simpson, The Avett Brothers and others.
