Parker McCollum is obsessed with living a fast-paced lifestyle, and captures that infatuation in the latest anthem to release from his next album. “Speed” made its debut on Friday (March 10).

McCollum’s latest offering follows previously-released tracks set to appear on his highly-anticipated project, Never Enough, which is due on May 12. Other songs to release so far have been “Stoned,” “Handle On You” and “I Ain’t Going Nowhere.” McCollum teamed up with Ryan Beaver to write “Speed,” which he has performed live at sold-out shows nationwide — his headlining tour is underway — to make it an instant fan-favorite.

"My song ‘Speed’ is about my obsession with living fast,” McCollum said in a statement on Friday. “Life is always going a hundred miles an hour and it’s important to try and be aware of that and slow things down every now and then. As you get a little further along in life you start to enjoy the slow and easy life. It takes a little reflection and a little step back from everything to realize how important it is."

McCollum is part of the all-star iHeartCountry Festival lineup on May 13, at Moody Center in Austin, Texas. Fans across the country will able to tune in to all of the incredible live performances at this year's iHeartCountry Festival as the event will be broadcast on iHeartRadio country stations nationwide, and on iHeartRadio.com as well as the iHeartRadio app on Saturday, May 13th at 8pm ET/5pm PT.
