Caroline Jones unleashed the perfect anthem for darting off on a high-speed chase, set in the wild, wild west… “Lawless” made its debut on Friday (March 10).

The expert singer-songwriter penned “Lawless” with Brandon Ratcliff and Pete Good. She released the song and a behind-the-scenes lyric video from the recording studio: “Your heart is beat, beating, shot to the chest/ What you do next is anyone's guess/ Bend your own rules and make your own mess/ You care so damn much you couldn't care less/ Woah, it's a high speed chase on the edge/ All or nothing/ Woah, find yourself in the wild wild west/ Love is lawless.”

Jones’ “Lawless” is her latest song to release since “Keep It Safe,” a breezy, 90s country-inspired collaboration with her friend and fellow singer-songwriter, Alyssa Bonagura. Jones spoke with iHeartRadio about the song earlier this year, in addition to her musical inspirations, touring the globe in 2023, both as a solo artist and as a member of Zac Brown Band. Jones is gearing up to kick off a series of shows over the weekend in Glasgow, Dublin and London at the C2C Country to Country festival.

“It's so special, and I would say it's really — it’s what everything else is for, you know?” Jones told iHeartRadio of performing live. “It means the world and it means even more to be selling out dates of my own now, slowly, in clubs and headlining venues for the first time. I mean, I've been dreaming of that for years. …(It’s) extremely exciting for me and for the team that believes so much in me.”
