Kelsea Ballerini is gearing up for her Saturday Night Live debut.

The “HEARTFIRST” superstar is set to take the New York City stage next month, serving as the legendary sketch comedy show’s musical guest for the first time ever. Ballerini shared the news on her social media channels on Thursday evening (February 16), gushing (while referencing lyrics to the first song on her new EP reflecting on her divorce and healing, Rolling Up The Welcome Mat): “it’s not 7am and i’m not on a mountain with a view but i am in my living room screaming crying and throwing up. see you march 4th on [Saturday Night Live].”

Ballerini’s announcement quickly garnered tons of celebratory comments from eager fans and celebrities, including fellow country artists Carly Pearce, Lady A’s Hillary Scott and Kassi Ashton, in addition to Fletcher, Chase Stokes, Charles Esten and more.

Ballerini will perform on the March 4 show, hosted by Kansas City Chiefs star and Super Bowl champ Travis Kelce (who is also making his debut on the show). Kelce announced his upcoming hosting gig during an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. NBC also announced hosts and musical guests for two other upcoming shows, including host Woody Harrelson and musical guest Jack White when SNL returns on February 25, and host Jenna Ortega and musical guest The 1975 on March 11.

Saturday Night Live broadcasts on NBC, and streams live on Peacock (11:30 p.m. ET/8:30 p.m. PT), per a press release from NBC.
