Maren Morris invited her social media followers to get ready with her as she and her team created the gorgeous look she wore on the red carpet at the 65th Annual Grammy Awards on Sunday evening (February 6). The “Circles Around This Town” superstar shared the behind-the-scenes look at her hair, makeup and wardrobe process on TikTok, writing in her caption: “Bury me in this dress but make sure I’m taped in.”
Morris walked the red carpet in a stunning, shimmering gray dress with a plunging neckline low enough to show off her abs (last month, she shared a gorgeous bikini pic on Instagram, inspiring ab workouts as she reflected on her week in Mexico for Brandi Carlile’s concert vacation, Girls Just Wanna Weekend). Morris also shared glimpses of the glamorous makeup products she used for her look, her accessories and more. As she posed for photos after achieving her Grammys full look, Morris’ husband, fellow singer-songwriter Ryan Hurd, joined her for a few of the shots.
TikTok users gushed over Morris’ Grammys look, including a fan account that deemed it, “jlo [Jennifer Lopez] at the 2000 GRAMMYs meets Morticia Addams meets Vogue. A SLAY 🖤,” (Morris replied: “MARE-ticia Addams”). Watch Morris and her team create the Grammys look here:
