RaeLynn posted an adorable new photo with her daughter Daisy Rae, seemingly hinting that new music is coming soon as she wrote in her heartwarming caption: “We’re running on Coffee, Jesus and Veggie-tales over here. Working on a new music release hasn’t looked so cute. I love my little tribe ✨💕” The country singer-songwriter hashtagged the sweet post, “mom life,” and “Raisin’ Me A Country Girl,” after the song she debuted for Daisy.
RaeLynn wrote the upbeat anthem with Rhett Akins and Will Bundy (produced by Corey Crowder), and released it in October 2022. It followed previously-released songs, “I Love My Hometown” and “If God Took Days Off,” and her 14-track album Baytown, a nod to her hometown in Texas.
RaeLynn’s latest song to release, “It’s Happening Right Here,” is one with an important message. It goes hand-in-hand with a documentary aiming to raise raise awareness about solicitation risks posed to children and teens, and how to recognize signs and protect them. RaeLynn said when the song released last month that her prayer is that the song “will bring awareness and shed light on the seriousness of this topic. I pray it educates people on how to protect their children and families and through that save lives. Despite the evilness of the sex trafficking industry, there is hope - there are still good people who care and are willing to speak up and protect our kids.”
