Gabby Barrett is celebrating her daughter’s second birthday, posting a photo on Instagram on Wednesday (January 18) showing the now 2-year-old marking the special occasion with a spa day.
Barrett took the photo over Baylah May’s shoulder as the birthday girl sat in a Hello Kitty-themed spa seat and got her toenails done. The photo was followed by a sweet snapshot of the mother-daughter duo embracing while sitting on the beach, and a third of Barrett holding Baylah as a baby. Barrett wrote in her caption: “Happy Birthday to our first born, Baylah! 2 years old! She went to the spa today & got her nails and toes done ☺️ (she is my twin) she rocks my world & continues to everyday. Blessed I am to be her mom.”
Barrett and her husband, fellow American Idol alum Cade Foehner, welcomed Baylah May on January 18, 2021. Last year, on Baylah’s first birthday, Barrett gushed over her “precious little girl. My daughter. It’s not possible to explain in words the love a mother has for her child. But being a parent, has made me appreciate my mother and father a whole lot more for what they did for my siblings and I. I will defend and protect you always. My number one goal in this life does not have to do with singing/entertaining, but raising a God fearing Christian, who loves Christ more than her mom and dad could ever. Praise God for you my love, and for motherhood. Mama & Dada love you always.”
In late October, Barrett and Foehner welcomed their second child, son Augustine Boone. Barrett announced her son’s arrival by sharing a photo of her newborn with his big sister, writing in her heartfelt caption that she was “soaking up the newborn days with baby brother. What a precious gift from our Lord!”
